Core sources for this rebuild include the Mifflin–St Jeor paper, the World Health Organization's healthy-diet guidance, physical-activity guidance and overweight and obesity overview.

Sources should be linked beside the relevant explanation. Observations, assumptions and calculations must not be presented as clinical facts. Testimonials, invented experts, unsupported success rates and guaranteed outcomes are not acceptable.

Health-related content is reviewed separately from implementation before publication. A reviewer should have relevant nutritional competence, and any claimed professional title or registration should be checked with the relevant regulator or recognised professional body in the reviewer's country or region.

The review covers the formula description, exclusions, risk language, source interpretation and safe-use guidance. Professional review reduces risk; it does not turn a general estimate into individual medical advice.

• Every substantive page should show or retain a review date in the release record.
• Source changes, calculator changes and user-reported defects trigger a targeted re-check.
• A correction must address the cause, verify the original failure and check nearby functionality.
